Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum investment amount?

The minimum investment on Afranga is just €10 for both SaveSmart and the Marketplace. This makes it easy to start small and grow your portfolio over time.

How is Afranga regulated?

Afranga is a licensed European Crowdfunding Service Provider (ECSP) under EU Regulation 2020/1503. We operate under strict regulatory oversight to ensure investor protection.

What's the difference between SaveSmart and the Marketplace?

SaveSmart is an automated fixed-term product with predictable returns — perfect for hands-off investors. The Marketplace lets you manually select individual loans, giving you full control.

Can I withdraw my money early?

Funds invested in individual loans through the marketplace cannot be withdrawn before maturity, and Business Loans through SaveSmart also do not allow early withdrawals before maturity. Real Estate investments made through SaveSmart allow early withdrawals of up to 30% of your investment, capped at €5,000.

What happens if a borrower defaults?

If a Borrower misses a repayment, Afranga will work to recover the funds and, if necessary, take legal action. Investors will be supported throughout the process and also have the right to pursue legal action independently.
